About this policy
Medário is a medical search platform that connects patients with verified health professionals. This policy applies to registered Medário users.
Data we collect
We may process voluntarily provided account data such as email, city, neighborhood, insurance, visit type, language, and accessibility needs.
Derived interests may be aggregated from search history without storing the original free-text query. Those signals can reveal health interests and receive compatible protection.
When you request an appointment, we process account identity, doctor, visit type, location, date, time, booking status, and applicable policy. Do not include symptoms, diagnosis, or clinical free text in booking flows.
Legal basis and purpose
Processing of account data and derived interests depends on specific, explicit, revocable consent. We use that data to improve search relevance and user experience.
Operational appointment data is processed to fulfill your request, support confirmation, reschedule, cancellation, reminders, and legal defense.
Sharing and security
We do not sell sensitive search data or build audiences segmented by health condition. Data is isolated per account and protected in Firebase Firestore with per-user access rules and TLS in transit.
When you request an appointment, we share with the chosen doctor only the operational data needed to manage care. Google Calendar integration receives time, duration, and a pseudonymous identifier — not symptoms, diagnosis, clinical messages, phone, or email.
Retention, deletion, and rights
Preferences, interests, and synced items are kept while the account is active and removed on deletion. Operational appointment records may be retained without direct identifiers for the period needed for schedule integrity, legal duties, and defense of rights.
You may access, correct, delete data, and revoke consents in My Account.
